(G-RATED)Watching the Stars

Omg I made something slightly cute.
I made a species, today, can't remember the name, though. See, I wanted a finned animal who looked dog-like. I got him!! And, I made a cat character to go with him, her name is Purly. His name is originally Nameless, but when Purly finds him washed up on the beach, she names him Typ (Tip). They fall in love, they're both young, and lovey. But one day, Typ goes into the forest, and finds a group of others of his species. Reminded of his kind, his natural instincts start up.
(This sentence here sounds like a period.) He goes on a cycle, for a week each month. He goes into the ocean, because now that his instincts have started, if he doesn't visit the coral fields for the week, he goes insane until he can get to the coral.
This is where he is telling Purly that as he gets older, the week will get longer, until eventually he has to spend his life in the water. As you can tell, it is a tragedy kind of story in my head. At least it's a cute couple for me to work on instead of suicide.
